Care under one roof

Everything from a vaccine booster to a two in the morning laparotomy.

Seven areas of care, one medical record, one team. Emergency work is walk-in around the clock; the rest is scheduled on weekdays.

01

Emergency & critical care

Walk in, 24 hours

No appointment. No answering service. A doctor is in the building.

Trauma, bloat, toxin ingestion, snakebite, whelping trouble, heat stroke, blocked cats, seizures, hit-by-car. Patients are triaged on arrival by severity, not by order of walk-in, and stay under continuous observation for as long as they need it.

  • Walk-in triage, 24 hours
  • Oxygen therapy and IV critical care
  • Emergency surgery, including GDV and C-section
  • Antivenom and blood product transfusions
  • Overnight and weekend hospitalization

02

Wellness & preventive care

By appointment · Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm

The unglamorous visits that keep you out of the emergency room.

Puppy and kitten series, annual and senior exams, vaccines, heartworm and tick prevention, nutrition and weight planning, and microchipping. Appointments Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, including routine and non-urgent care.

  • Puppy & kitten visit series
  • Annual and senior wellness exams
  • Vaccines and parasite prevention
  • Microchipping and travel paperwork

03

Surgery

By appointment

Soft tissue procedures, scheduled or same-night.

Spay and neuter, mass removals, foreign body and GI surgery, cystotomy and splenectomy. GDV (bloat) surgery and emergency cesarean sections are performed at any hour. We do not do orthopedic repair such as plates and screws — fractures are stabilized here and the patient is referred to a specialty surgeon for definitive repair. Every patient gets pre-anesthetic bloodwork, a dedicated anesthetist, and multimodal pain control.

  • GDV (bloat) surgery, any hour
  • Emergency cesarean sections, any hour
  • Foreign body and abdominal surgery
  • Fracture stabilization before specialty referral
  • Spay, neuter and mass removal

04

In-house diagnostics & imaging

By appointment

Answers tonight, not after a courier run on Monday.

Digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a full in-house laboratory. Bloodwork, cytology, and urinalysis are read on site, which is what makes a 2 a.m. treatment decision possible.

  • Digital radiography and ultrasound
  • In-house bloodwork and cytology
  • Endoscopy and scope retrieval
  • Same-visit results and treatment plan

05

Dentistry

By appointment

Full-mouth radiographs, not a guess and a scale.

Anesthetized cleanings with full-mouth dental radiographs, extractions, and treatment of periodontal disease — the most under-treated painful condition we see in adult dogs and cats.

  • Full-mouth dental radiographs
  • Ultrasonic scaling and polishing
  • Surgical extractions
  • At-home care coaching

06

Boarding & Daycare

By appointment

Board where the medical staff never leaves.

Daycare and overnight boarding on the same campus as the hospital, with supervised outdoor play. Medication administration, senior patients, and pets with chronic conditions are welcome — there is always a doctor on site.

  • Supervised Daycare and play yards
  • Overnight and extended stays
  • Medication and insulin administration
  • Senior and special-needs boarding

Referral & primary vet coordination

By appointment

We work with your regular veterinarian, not around them.

Referral appointments and after-hours overflow for regional practices. Records, imaging, and discharge summaries go back to your primary veterinarian so care continues where it started.

  • Referral and second-opinion visits
  • After-hours overflow for area clinics
  • Records and imaging sent back same week
  • Shared treatment planning

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe what is going on and we will sort it out. Reception is staffed at every hour, including right now.
